Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Thank you for your continued loyalty and support.  We had a record breaking 2012 and we had the pleasure of helping 377 families buy and sell real estate.  None of this success could be possible without you and we are very grateful!

With a challenging economy and a difficult real estate environment, our achievements were even more notable.  This was a year of significant milestones.  We have officially sold over 1,100 homes in our 9 year career.  We were also voted in the Top 250 nationwide by the Wall Street Journal,  we were featured as Who’s Who in Chicagoland Real Estate and we were recognized as one of the Top 20 Agents in all of the Chicagoland area by Chicago Agent Magazine.  Furthmore, we were in the Top 10 for all of Keller Williams International for homes sold and we placed in the Top 50 for overall sales and volume for Keller Williams International, comprised of over 85,000 agents.  We are very proud of our success and we thank you for your trust!

The overall 2012 real estate market showed some improvement this year and we saw a lot of home sales.  With affordability at an all time high and rates at an all time low, buyers were in the market aggressively pursuing homes.  In fact, homes that were priced well, showed well and were marketed by the right broker received offers.  In many cases we experienced many multiple offer situations which was not indicative of the past several years since the real estate decline.  The market had fluidity and movement so it was a very exciting time.

I believe that 2013 will probably be similar to 2012.  The rates are still projected to remain low and when that happens, affordability is at an all time high.  Also, banks are slower to release their foreclosures which means a little less inventory and when this happens,  housing demand becomes high.  I think the market will continue to slowly stabilize and the good news is homes are selling.  The market has adjusted to the new values and people are pricing their homes correctly and buyers are buying them.  With the right strategy, the right broker, selling is very possible!
